During our pistol permit classes you will have classroom time, qualification and paperwork done by the end of class. We do your fingerprints ( Utah Only ) and fill out your paperwork while you are with us. At the end of the day if you should have any questions just ask us!
During class we will teach you the most important part of owning a gun, gun safety! You will be introduced to the parts of the gun, proper handling, cleaning, storage, proper grip, proper stance, how to load a magazine, how to operate the safety, and more.
After our classroom time we will travel to a shooting range where you will get hands on experience shooting your gun. We will have target practice and your qualification will be done here.
There is no need for you to worry about paperwork. Our instructors will help you with all of that in class. We can do fingerprinting for Utah permits and notaries.
The class requires an 8 hour commitment. Plan to spend the day with us! We will take short breaks during class for relief and refreshment.
A great attitude and your license is all you need for class! Guns for target practice and qualification will be provided.
By law you cannot purchase or carry a gun unless you have a permit. This class will earn you that permit. You must be 21 in the state of Connecticut to apply for a permit.
There is no need for you to worry about paperwork. We will help you with all of that in class. Our instructors can do fingerprinting for Utah and notary!
Classroom content will be held at our store located on the second floor at 407 E Main in Waterbury Connecticut. Shoot practice and qualification will be at another location and will require us to travel from the store to the shooting range.
The state of Connecticut is an open carry state. This permit will allow you to purchase and carry a pistol.
We are certified instructors for the states of Connecticut, Utah and Florida. You can choose the state you need your permit for. Costs vary depending on the permit State. Florida permits are valid in 32 states and Utah permits are valid in 36.
A Florida Carry Permit is recognized in the following States:
